Take a walk

On a dirt road with trees rising up to obscure the ocean, I decided to walk barefoot instead of taking the old bike with the up handlebars and basket.

I wanted it to take longer. I needed the time on the road before the open beach assaulted me.

Sometimes it isn't even the road less traveled. It isn't even the idea of dialectical movements between point A and point B. It's the long, luxurious walk with nothing else to do but get to where you're going.

Walk with me?

  3. I'm right there with you, Suzanne. Wish it could be reality instead of virtual. I miss the ocean.

  4. This post had me missing all the long walks I used to take. I used to do all my thinking then.

Thanks for the reminder, that I have to make time for certain things again.

  6. What a wonderful way to wile away some time and gather your thoughts. I love long meandering walks like this.

  7. The getting is good when the having has yet to be. That sure was a smooth snapshot of place and intent.
