For you who will remain nameless

From the moment I knew you, there was magic in my life. Sometimes I didn't see it, but looking back it was surely there.

You're a magic person. And that can sure make life hard sometimes.

There are hunters out there who track magic people. They lay traps and when they catch those magic people, they skin them alive. It's terrible. I've seen it happen. Yuck.

But you haven't gone into hiding, even though you know they're out to get you. It makes me proud... and scared. You run from flower to flower, sprinkling glitter from your fingertips, turning weeping into laughter. Jeans into dresses, make up into peachy clean skin.

You press on. You persist in your magic ways.

Don't go underground honey. If they catch you, I'll rescue you! It'll be a grand adventure. We'll fly all over the world before I take you home.

So much love, baby. So much love.

  1. I thought you were talking about me until you got to the glitter part. Oh well. :P

(Lovely post, though, m'dear. As always. I think I say that every time. I'll have to come up with something new, methinks.)
